Promise 1 - Availability of Bank Services within 5kms
Today more than 99% of villages have a bank branch, banking outlet, or Banking Mitra within 5kms.
Conclusion - FULFILLED ✅
Promise 2 - Digitization and Modernization of Courts
Phase II of the project has been implemented from 2015 to 2023 with 18,735 District and Subordinate courts computerized.
Conclusion - ON TRACK ✅
Promise 3 - Promote and increase digital transactions
The total volume of digital payment transactions surged from 2,071 crores in FY 2017-18 to 13,462 crores in FY 2022-23 achieving CAGR of 45%.
India's UPI has been accepted by 7 countries globally and it has touch new record of transaction of 18.4 Lakh rupees in January.
Conclusion - FULFILLED ✅
Promise 4 - Reduction of Air Pollution
As of 2024 India is world's third most polluted country. India has an average of annual PM2.5 concentration of 54.4 micrograms per cubic metre.
Conclusion - NOT FULFILLED ❌
Promise 5 - Elimination of Crop residue to reduce air pollution
Significant reduction in stubble-burning incidents in Punjab, with government funding for crop residue management.
Conclusion - PARTIALLY FULFILLED
Overall in this sector BJP has done an average work but ample amount of initiatives have been taken for fulfillment of promises.
